Chapter 17,18 summary
Chapter 17 was amazing because of how it was a day off and all of that.But one thing i think nobody could miss Jonas's fear of war.But something else i thought when reading i was reading was the day a sign of whats to come in the future.On the the hand its baby Gabriel's first steps.Jonas also now knows how his friends and his family feels because they don't know real emotions.The next chapter was very very exciting for me because The Giver tells Jonas about Rosemary and her release.I thought that Rosemary applied for release because she couldn't handle the pain,and i know that the Giver loved her so much and i knew that it was painful for the Giver to mention her name.He doesn't want the same thing to happen to Jonas.Jonas also mentioned the thought of release and wondered what happens when a release takes place.
